Lewes - Mount Caburn - Lewes

This superb short walk over an isolated stretch of the Downs just East of Lewes has so much going for it. A nature reserve, an Iron Age fort, beautifully contorted dry valleys and stunning views in every direction. You can even take in an opera at Glyndebourne if you feel inclined.

As you climb up towards the golf course you get a good view of Lewes Brooks
