Pulborough Brooks

Gill had a job interview today so I got the train to Pulborough for a good look round my favourite patch. It had been a very cold night and a lot of the water in the puddles, scrapes and brooks was frozen. On reaching the River Arun I immediately came across a Barn owl hunting along the other bank. On the RSPB reserve the peregrine was on his favourite perch at the hanger and there were robin's everywhere. I managed to get a small bit of film of a treecreeper climbing a tree and I also came across a group of long-tailed tits and a couple of bullfinches.
If you want a place to go where you can hone your wildlife watching skills and see lots of different animals, then you can do no better than Pulborough brooks.
