Pulborough Brooks

Just because we hate to be defeated (see last week), we took the opportunity of yet another in a long line of rainy, blustery days to take a small stroll around RSPB Pulborough Brooks, although this time we were sure of reaching our destination as we took the bike directly to the visitors centre car park. Once on the reserve we were treated to yet more rain and howling wind but also to roaming flocks of Fieldfares and Redwings and the spectacle of hordes of wildfowl circling the North Brooks.

Some very washed out looking Fly Agarics.
