Sunday 29th June 2008
Amberley - North stoke - The Burgh - Amberley
6.5. miles

The plan today was to go to Holmwood in Surrey and walk part of the Greensand Way despite the fact that we were nursing headaches. Yesterday was the Crawley Folk Festival and the beer tent sold some very excellent cider which we drank with many friends that we haven't seen for ages.   However, despite the hangovers and despite being sold the train tickets to the neighbouring county, there were in fact NO trains to Holmwood on a Sunday!
Finding ourselves at Horsham with no way to carry out our plans, we set ourselves to default and went to Amberley instead.
We had great views of at least two peregrine falcons today and each time they passed by they sent up huge flocks of rooks.

This time we went UP the steps of insanity. The hangover cure!
